Dear Family, I was sorry to learn that Alice passed away. Of course, ninety-six is quite a few years, and even if she was in bad health experience teaches me that there is always a sense of separation, no matter what.

I don't expect anyone but Randy will recognize my name. I met Alice & George through their friends, Keith & Ann Harrison; and George was even in our wedding. (I married Judy Harrison in '76.) They were both lovely, lovely people and I am so v. glad to have known them.

Beth and Janet, You probably don't remember me, but my family lived next door to you on Blanton St in Texarkana. I babysat Beth a few times and she and my brother David were friends. I am sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. As a child, I always thought she was so beautiful and elegant. From the pictures, it looks like she lived a long full life, full of the love of family. My condolences to you and all of your family.

Dearest Beth and family,
I have so many fond memories of time spent at your house when we were growing up and how wonderful both of your parents were. Your mother was one of the kindest, sweetest and most gracious women I have ever known. You were so blessed to have her for so many years in the lives of you and your sons, and even your precious new grandson.I can only imagine how difficult this is for all of you right now, but hopefully, the wonderful memories will ease your pain somewhat. My thoughts, prayers and love are with you all.
