Allan Stanley "Tex" Templeton

Allan Stanley "Tex" Templeton, 66 of New Boston, TX passed away on August 7, 2026 at a local hospice. He was born on June 17, 1960 in Los Angeles, CA. Mr. Templeton was veteran of the US Army serving in Iraq and was a drill sergeant as well as military mechanic instructor.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Alicia Templeton, parents Howard and Iva Templeton, brother Terry Templeton and a grandchild Alex.

Survivors include his wife, Veronica Smith; two daughters and sons-in-law, Savannah and Mitchell Oliver and Samantha and Justin Dickerson and Sherelyn Corley; grandchild, Christopher Grider, stepchildren, David Ruiz, Tina Ruiz, Allen Ruiz and Frank Reyes; step grandchildren, Taylor Moore (Great Grandchild Ruelas), Seth Moore, Riley Oliver, Sophia Blankenship and Olivia Blankenship; daughter-in-law, Lisa Hernandez; special friends, Patrick Wissinger and Shura Chirlin, Tim Wright, David Cargile, Chief and Tina Caldwell, Bob Shano and many good friends he made in the military and many families members. Baby Girl Sandie Mae, his beloved pet.

A Celebration of Life service will be 1pm Friday August 28, 2026 at 1981 FM 2149 West, New Boston, TX 75570. (Moss Springs)
