Andy LeGrand went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on May 25th, 2020. Andrew Prince LeGrand, III was born to Margie and Andrew P. LeGrand, Jr. on March 28th, 1944. He graduated from Texas High School in 1962 and went to Southern State in Magnolia to receive a degree in business administration all while working for his dad at their family-owned company, AP Supply Company, that was founded by AP Legrand, Jr. in 1960.
Andy would later become President of AP Supply and have a life long career working beside his brother, Don Legrand , and his sister, Nina LeGrand, in the industrial business. This was one of his proudest accomplishments, carrying on the family business. He would often say working is one of my hobbies. His hobbies were too numerous to list, but a few of them included fishing, hunting, scuba diving, houseboating, and horse racing. He loved to laugh and he loved to live. He loved attending his kids' and grandkids' sporting events, no matter the season.
Andy was preceded in death by his parents, Margie and AP Legrand, Jr. and his beloved wife of 48 years, Betty Bowerman LeGrand. Andy was survived by his son, Andrew P. LeGrand, IV (Angela) and daughter, Shannon Legrand (Jane), his brother, Donald Paul Legrand ( Linda), his sister, Katrina LeGrand and 3 grandsons, Andrew and Peyton LeGrand and Greyson Elmore and a number of nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his loving, special partner with which he spent the remaining years on this earth, Betty Jean Holder.
