Mrs. Phillips was born March 11, 1936 in Ruleville, Mississippi. She was a homemaker and a member of Westlawn Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Phillips and her son David Phillips.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Roy Phillips, Jr. and his wife Tracy of Maryville, IL and Paul and Sherry Phillips of Hooks, TX and numerous grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Westlawn Missionary Baptist Church, 600 Westlawn Drive, Texarkana,Texas.
The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the church.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of East Funeral Home-Moores Lane.
