

Mrs. Peace was born March 8, 1922, in DeKalb, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob Peace on February 5, 1998; a granddaughter Amy Gwendolyn Peace in 1971; and ten siblings.
Survivors include two sons, LTC (Ret) Donald R. Peace and wife, Gail of Atlanta, TX., and Dr. Dwayne Peace and wife, Carolyn of Tyler, TX; three grandsons, Jeff Peace and wife Terri of Atlanta, TX., Matthew Peace Dallas, TX, and Jonathon Peace of Glendale, CA; one granddaughter, Julie Peace of Garland, TX; two great-grandsons, Tyler Peace of Texarkana, TX., and Dylan Peace Atlanta, TX., one great-granddaughter, Landry Peace of Atlanta,TX; and a number of sisters-in-law plus nieces and nephews.
Bea was a loving and caring person and always and always knew how to assist those around her, wether taking care of the sick, preparing meals, babysitting or helping those in need. Bea and Jake opened their home to a number of foster children during the 1950's.
Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. Monday, October 11, 2010, at East Funeral Home, 2807 Moores Lane with Rev. Fred Calhoun officiating. Burial will follow in Woodmen Cemetery in DeKalb, TX, under direction of East Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be at Cornerstone Retirement Community Chapel, 4100 Moores Lane at 3:00 p.m, on Monday, October 11, 2010.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, October 10, 2010, at East Funeral Home, 2807 Moores Lane.
