

Rebecca “Becky” Louise Flieder was born on March 31, 1949 in Highland Park, Michigan to parents Floyd and Kathleen Sanders. Becky is one of twelve children. Bob and Becky met on a blind date in 1969 while Bob was stationed in California for the Marine Corp. After a short courtship they married on January 18, 1969 in Costa Mesa, California. Bob and Becky had four children Bobby, Paul, Peter and Misty. They lived in many places but settled in Texarkana, Texas. They were longtime members of 1st Assembly of God Church on 7th street. Becky had many hobbies, some including ceramic, wahoo, and bingo. Becky loved her family with everything she was. Becky passed at home in the presence of her loving husband and children on March 15, 2026 while in the care of chambers hospice. Becky was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Kathleen Sanders, Brothers David, Darrell and Floyd Sanders. Son Peter Flieder and Granddaughter Mary Nichols. Becky is survived by husband of fifty-seven years Bob Flieder. Sisters Karen Kane, Sandy Langley, Star Volcko, Connie Lynch, Debbie Volcko, Kathy Sanders, Marie Sanders. Son and Daughter in Law Bobby and Setha Flieder, Son and Daughter in law Paul and Connie Flieder, Daughter and Son in law Misty and James Miller. Grandchildren and spouses Joseph and Melissa Flieder, Robbie Flieder and Partner Lucy Garcia, Cody Cruse, Vincent and Bonnie Flieder, Kymberlee and Robert Smalls, Jackie and Robert Cooke, Joshua Flieder , Dakota Flieder, Samantha and Jimmy “JJ” Justus, Shyanne and Nate Gary, Andrew and Amanda Lummus, William Lummus, Blake Miller, Blaine Miller and Dakota Miller and numerous nieces and nephew, great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and friends.
Pallbearers will be Paul Flieder, JJ Justus, Cody Cruse, Jody Cruse, Nate Gary and Hershell Sammons.
Visitation will be on Friday March 20, 2026 from 6-8 pm at East Funeral Home-Moores Lane. Services will be held on Saturday March 21, 2026 at 2pm at East Funeral Home-Moores Lane with Bro. Joseph Flieder officiating. Graveside services at Chapelwood cemetery will follow.
