Oh, Mom, how I miss you so very much.  I place fresh flowers on your grave every week, and I talk to you and Daddy.  I hope that you have reunited with Daddy, Mamaw and Dang Dang, all of your beloved pets,  and all of your dear friends and relatives.  I hope that you and Daddy are dancing in Heaven, for you are no longer confined to a wheelchair.  I love you more than words can express.  My life is empty without you....I will see you again someday.

I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved Mother Betty.  I got to know Betty when she first came to The Magnolia two years ago....being the Activity Director.  We instantly hit it off and had some type of kinship.  I remember the hours spending with her and just laughing with sheer joy of being with her. She loved my stories of my sons and even became friends with them when they would visit.  You were there too, just laughing and talking.  I learned so much from her. She was wise and kind and in those two years I loved her and she loved me.  I learned so much of her life with you and your family. She loved you dearly.  She loved her animals and even cried with me when my beloved dog passed away.  She was a wonderful wife to Bernie, mother of you and Ronny, a pianist, a court reporter when most women didn't work, she danced in the great halls of New York with your Dad in the forties, and she even told me about her first job which left me in stitches.  I only hope that some day I will be remembered as her....with great class, humor and dignity.  Love you and may God ease your pain with time.

Hello my dear Ronny.  I just saw this about your mother, while looking up someone else. Bless her sweet heart. I know what you are going through, because my darling husband of 48 years just died on April 4, and I had taken care of him for 31 yrs., as you well know. Mrs. Voltz was a very sweet lady, I knew her when I worked in the County Clerk's office. She would come down from court reporting and tell some of the funniest stories... Very beautiful and classy lady who had a great sense of humor.  My sincere sympathy,  Regina Sinyard Fant

I've know Betty for as long as I can remember.  She was a class act.  Thoughts and prayers to my old friend, Suzanne, during these difficult times.

Remembering Betty over the many years I knew her from the Miller County Courthouse.   She was such a beautiful lady - both in appearance and spirit.  She was also so talented.  I always loved to watch her work - she was so fast - wow!  She was one fine lady who always had a smile and a kind word!  She was a joy to be around and will be missed. Suzanne and Ronny--I will always remember a lot of laughs with y'all and your dear mother.  I'm so glad that I had the opportunity to see her and visit with her just a few short months ago. Giving up our mothers is probably the most difficult thing we ever do, but I know we will see them again.  I'm very sorry that I can't be there, but will continue to pray for you and yours.

What wonderful memories I have of Mrs. Betty.  Although I did not know her long, I can truly say that I loved her and admired her joyful spirit.  No matter her day, she always said "I'm fine" when asked.  I treasure the times we spent playing Bingo, sitting on the patio at the Mag listening to the birds and windchimes, at meals, and at church (at the Mag).  She will be missed by all, and I look forward to seeing her again, whole and well.  Praying for God's peace and comfort to you all.

Ronnie and Suzanne, I really have missed your mom the last few years.  She was such a hoot and a joy to be around when she was court reporting and the times she stopped by after she retired.  We are all so sorry to hear that she has passed away.  She was extremely proud of both of you and could not wait to fill us in on how you were doing and about the grandkids.  Our prayers are with you.

What happy memories we share from childhood forward.  Betty and Bernie were part of the greatest generation this country ever  saw, and we were so fortunate to be the safe, happy children of all the parents of that generation.  I loved running into Betty at Cobbler Shoppe, and there was always room at her table to share a meal and visit for a long time.  You were very blessed to have had her with you for so many years.
