Survivors include his wife, Louise Childers of Nash, TX; sons, John Ray Childers and Billy Ray Childers, Jr. both of Poteau, OK and James Cunningham of Harrison, AL; daughter, Amanda Degiusti of Poteau, OK; stepdaughter, Charlotte Garrett of Ashdown, AR; stepsons, Douglas Tyrone Hicks of Houston, TX, and Rory Pernell Hicks of Hooks, TX; brother, Jimmy Ray Childers of Nash, TX; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 13 step-grandchildren, 7 step-greatgrandchildren a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Ware Cemetery, Domino, TX with Rev. Jerry Creek officiating. Burial is under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, February 3, 2012 at the funeral home.
