Joyce and family, I was sorry to hear of your loss. It's hard for me to think of Hardy without thinking of him.

Mr. Bell is Still a wonderful inspiration for all. He was a loving, strong and sensitive man who used his talents to shape minds, both young and more experienced. His spirit shined through in everything he did: from teaching Sunday school to coaching individuals to do their best. He was a good friend who reached out to share with others; he made sure to get reminders to my mother when a special event at Hardy was coming up. He was a good listener when I was a teenager and gave solid guidance. He was one of my favorite Sunday school teachers and will always hold a special place in my heart.

To Joyce, my tennis friend, and family, I started college at 30 in 1970. Dr. Bell was an encourager and inspirer! He made me believe I could do It! I will always appreciate his kindness and support. I am sure that I am one of many that he helped. I am blessed for having known him. My condolences to you all. Judy Starrett

We will greatly miss bringing produce from the garden to Bob. He was always amazed at the size of the turnips from the river. He and Joyce were always the third people we saw every Sunday morning and he always had a smile. All of you are in our prayers🙏🙏🙏

Dr. Bell was one of my favorite professors at Texarkana College. His warmth and humor made his classes enjoyable, and carried over to conversations outside the classroom, regardless of the topic. Your family is in my prayers.

Bob was always the sweetest man at Kiwanis! Loved sitting and visiting with him whenever he could make the weekly luncheons. I also served on the Board of Directors with him several times.

He will be greatly missed!

Bob was the most caring and Godly man I have known in a long time. He worked tirelessly as our SS teacher in the Friendship class at Hardy UMC, and was a vital part of our New Horizons functions. He will be missed in so many ways.
To Joyce and the entire Bell family may God grant you comfort during this time, until we can all meet again.
