Brenda Mitchell, 76 of Texarkana, Texas passed away September 22, 2023 in a local hospice facility.
Mrs. Mitchell was born September 7, 1947 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. She taught school for a total of 39 years and served 29 of those years at Redwater ISD where she later retired. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Mitchell.
She faithfully supported her son in his business Team 5 Enterprise and his career in racing. She was his biggest fan.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law; Jon and Kimberly Mitchell of Texarkana, Texas and a sister Johnnie Stinson of Texarkana, Texas. Also left to cherish her memory is her niece Angie Hopkins of Texarkana, Texas and nephew Scooter Stinson of Texarkana, Texas.
Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Chapelwood Cemetery.
