Carolyn Sue Smith

Carolyn Sue Smith, 81, of Texarkana, AR passed away March 20, 2012 at a local hospital. Mrs. Smith was born August 12, 1930 in Little Rock, AR. She owned a restaurant in Saratoga, AR for many years and enjoyed serving people. She was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Billy F. Smith.

She is survived by son, Reggie Smith and wife, Sally of Allen TX, son Richard Smith of Texarkana, AR; grandson, Dr. Marc Smith and wife, Tracy of Texarkana, AR, grandson, Matthew Smith and wife, Elizabeth of Little Rock, AR, grandson, Rusty Smith of Austin, TX; granddaughter, Regina Ann Smith of Kyle TX; great grandsons Luke, Lee and Landry of Texarkana, AR and great granddaughter, Cora Smith of Little Rock, AR.

Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at East Memorial Chapel - Downtown.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 2 p.m., Thursday, March 22, 2012 at St. Edwards Catholic Church with Rev. Paul Worm officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home, following the rosary on Wednesday, March 21, 2012.
