Carolyn Trammell

Nancy "Carolyn" Trammell, 78, of Texarkana, TX passed away November 18, 2015 in a local hospital. Mrs. Trammell was born August 16, 1937 in Texarkana, AR. She was a retired teacher from Linden Kildare; a member of Williams Memorial United Methodist Church; and member of United Daughters of Confederacy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Trammell; daughter, Tammy Burns; and parents, Leon and Ruth Davis.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Pam Trammell of Texarkana, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Marcy and Gary Klein of Texarkana, TX; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Faith and Jordan Graves of Wake Village, TX; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Justin and Amanda Trammell of Erie, Colorado; and brother and sister-in-law Freddy and Sharon Davis of Texarkana, AR.

Service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, November 21, 2015 at East Memorial Chapel - Moores Lane with Rev. Brad Morgan and Dr. Jimmy White officiating. Burial will be at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home - Moores Lane.

Family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at East Memorial Chapel - Moores Lane, prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Wounded Warriors Project, Samaritan's Purse or Salvation Army.
