Catherine Jenkins

Mrs. Jenkins was born on July 22, 1944, in Clarksdale, Mississippi. She was a retired teacher and taught many years at Nash Elementary School. She held a master's degree in education and was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She loved to cook and took great pride in her culinary creations.

She was preceded in death by her husband Felix Jenkins and a sister Ann Calhoun.

Survivors include her three sons and their spouses; Tony and Laurie Jenkins, Steven and Michelle Jenkins and Richard and Pamela Jenkins.

Also left to cherish her memory are her six grandchildren and their spouses; Alexandra, Corey and his partner Molly, Brandon and his wife Courtney, Steven Jr., Zachary and Ian and three great grandchildren; Adrienne, Cooper and Hudson.

Rosary will be recited at 5:00 pm on Friday night, November 6th, 2026, with visitation to follow at East Funeral Home-Moores chapel.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 am Saturday, November 7th, 2026, at Chapelwood Cemetery with Father Justin Braun officiating.

Following the graveside service a reception will immediately follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. All are welcome to come and fellowship.
