Chelsea Marie Whatley Sutton

Chelsea was born on December 7th 1926 in Oakdale, LA. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and DAV.

Chelsea led a full life devoted to her family and work. She and her husband were owners of several restaurants with the Razorback Drive-In, the most remembered. She was an avid gardener, prize winning cook, and loved to fish. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. The look on her face was priceless when her loved ones were at her side.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Sutton and son, Ronnie Gene Sutton. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Ronnie Green, Kathy and Doug Farquhar, Sherry and Larry Jordan, and one son, Aubrey Sutton, Jr. Also her survivors include grandchildren, Lisa Williamson, Steve Farquhar, Russell Green, Jeff Jordan, Stephanie Dunn, Jamie Green and Josh Jordan, and 12 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at East Funeral Home - Moores Lane.

Services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at East Memorial Chapel-Moores Lane with Rev. Wallace Edgar officiating. Burial is under the direction of East Funeral Home - Moores Lane.
