Christopher Meredith Witmer

Christopher Meredith Witmer, age 79, of Texarkana, Arkansas passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025 at a local hospice. He was born on May 7,1946 in Texarkana, AR to James Freddie and Hazel Witmer. Mr. Witmer was a member of Rondo Community Church, he worked for Midwest Milk Company was retired from Borden Milk Company and was a school bus driver for the Texarkana Arkansas Schools. He was a member of the Arklahomatex Corvette Club and he owned many Corvettes and loved to drive them fast. Mr. Witmer was also served in the U. S. Air Force reserves during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife Linda Witmer of Texarkana, AR; son Clint Witmer of Texarkana, AR; two sisters, Saundra Martin of Texarkana, TX and Shryl McDonald and husband Jerry; grandchildren, Guy Witmer, Reese Witmer, Carissa Witmer and Chevy Witmer; great grandson, Kyle Witmer.

Visitation will be from 3pm to 4pm Tuesday July 1, 2025 at Rondo Community Church with funeral service to follow at 4pm with Rev. Josh Mudford officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home-Downtown.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Hospice of Texarkana, St Jude's Children Hospital or charity of your choice.
