Clifford A. Woods

Clifford A. Woods, 81, of Texarkana, AR passed away August 26, 2010 at his home. Mr. Woods was born April 7, 1929 in Foley, MN. He was a member of Central Baptist Church and a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean war.

Mr. Woods was preceded in death by sisters, Lucy Fox and Mary Jane Dawson and two brothers George (Bob) Woods and Cecil Woods.

Survivors include his wife, Rosemary Woods of Texarkana, AR; daughters, Regina Martin of Bowie, TX and Mary Byrd of Longview, TX; son Donald Woods of Texarkana, TX; stepdaughter, Brenda Huttash of Richardson, TX; stepsons, Sam McCarley and wife Peggy of Fouke, AR and Chuck McCarley of Port Aransas, TX; brother and sisters-in-law, Frosty and Linda Woods and Ed and Shirley Woods all of Iowa; and Harold and Dorthe Woods, sister, Hazel Bird, sister and brother-in-law, Delores and Larry Hermamsearfer all of Iowa and many beloved nieces and nephews and grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at Central Baptist Church with Rev. Phillip Dunn officiating.

Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, August 30, 2010 at East Funeral Home - Downtown.
