Cloree "Dot" Young

Cloree "Dot" Young, 90, of Texarkana, Texas passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2011 in an assisted living center. Mrs. Young was born July 11, 1921 in Van Zandt County, TX. She was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church.

Mrs. Young is preceded in death by her husband Robert D. Young in November 2007.

She is survived by one son John R. Young of Gateway, AR; one daughter, Amy Young Brown of Texarkana, TX; 3 grandsons, Benjamin J. Brown of Texarkana, TX, Zachary P. Brown of Texarkana, TX and Matthew A. Young of Fayetteville, AR; great grandson, Tyler A. Young of Fayetteville, AR; and a sister, Irma Buckner of La Porte, TX; plus numerous nieces and nephews.

Service will be 10 a.m., Friday, November 11, 2011 at East Memorial Chapel - Moores Lane with Rev. Kevin Myers officiating. Graveside service will be 3 p.m., Friday at Union Chapel Cemetery in Van, Texas. Services are under the direction of East Funeral Home - Moores Lane.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, November 10, 2011 at the funeral home.
