When I think of Clyde Powell, I think of a giant. Someone that I had a lot of respect for, not only as a police officer; but a friend, a man that could be depended on to help folks in their time of need and distress. No matter your "status" in the community - Clyde Powell was a friend to all. A good decent man with a heart of gold. His life was an example of how to live the Christian life. Yes,I am very saddened to think of his passing, but at the same time, rejoicing that he is in heaven, reunited with Miss Virginia and other loved ones. He will be sorely missed. Your family will be in my prayers in the days to come. God bless you always.
