Connie Merchant 60, of Texarkana, AR. passed away June 27, 2015 at a local hospital. Ms. Merchant was born April 6, 1955 in Great Lakes, IL. She was a member of County Avenue Baptist Church and was a X-ray technician.
She is preceded in death by a sister Kathy Sherfey.
Survivors are her parents Louis and Iva Merchant of Texarkana, AR; two brothers David Merchant of Georgetown, TX. and Michael Merchant of Louisville, KY; one sister Nancy Myer of Yukon, OK. Plus numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Friday, July 3, 2015 at East Memorial Chapel - Downtown with Rev. Bill McClure officiating. Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m., Thursday, July 2, 2015 at East Funeral Home - Downtown.
