Curtis Ray Johnson

Curtis Ray Johnson, 71, of Doddridge, AR passed away January 7 2013 in a local hospital. Mr. Johnson was born April 16, 1941 in Fouke, AR. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army; retired policeman in Daytona Beach, FL and retired Military Police.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Johnson of Doddridge, AR; sons, Jason Straub Johnson of Springdale, AR, Robert Johnson of Doddridge, AR and Shane Johnson of MN; daughters, Mary Grace Johnson and Thelma Lu Johnson both of Texarkana, AR, Anna Marie Johnson of Conway, AR, Laura Wittnebell of Evansville, WI and Britta Wollums of Dania Beach, FL; brothers, Raymond Johnston and Dave Johnston both of Doddridge, AR, Ray Johnston and Orbie Johnston of Texarkana, AR, Gene Johnston of FL and John Johnston of NC; sisters, Thelma Johnston of Texarkana, AR, Judy McKinney of Fouke, AR, Sybil Clark of Texarkana, AR and Faye McClain of Texarkana; a number of grandchildren; great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be 10 a.m., Friday, January 11, 2013 at Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. George Goynes, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, January 10, 2013 at the funeral home.
