Mr. Helms was born May 15th, 1948 in Newport, Arkansas. He was a local artist and the associate minister at the Arkansas Blvd. Church of Christ and was loved by many.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law; David and Cheri Helms and his daughter and son-in-law, Dana and Michael Rose. Also left to cherish his memory are his two grandchildren, Allen Helms and Grace Rose and one brother Donny Helms.
