

David Lynn Beasley, age 74, was born in Batesville, Arkansas on February 1, 1949. David graduated high school at the early age of 16, and three years later enlisted in the US Navy from 1968-1972, to serve aboard the USS White Plains. In 1972, he enrolled in Arkansas Polytechnic University, followed by the Arkansas College of Technology where he obtained an electronics degree in 1982. He also earned a business degree from Texas A&M in 2000. He was employed by Texas Instruments from 1983 to 1995. He and his late wife Pamela Sue Rogers Beasley worked at the Texas Baptist Orphanage from 1995 to 2002, after which he finished his employment years at Isimet until his retirement.
David loved the Lord and was an proudly patriotic individual, who loved his country and his family. While raising his sons, he enjoyed volunteering as a cub scout and boy scout troop leader, as music minister at various churches, as a Sunday School teacher and as a director for Vacation Bible School. Following their respective retirements in Texarkana, David and Pam both served as volunteers for Grace Clinic in recent years.
David was predeceased by his parents, Leonard Herbert and Dorothy Anita White Beasley of Atkins, Arkansas, his wife of 47 years Pamela Sue Beasley of Texarkana, and a brother Leonard Hal Beasley. He is survived by his sons David Leonard Beasley (Ashley) of Fresno, California and John Michael Beasley (Asher) of Nacogdoches, Texas, along with 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Please join the family and friends for a memorial service this Saturday, April 22nd with a visitation at 1 pm followed by a 2 pm service at Northern Hills Baptist Church, 6000 Sammy Lane in Texarkana Arkansas.
