Very sorry to hear of Tan's passing. One of my favorite memories is riding with Tan in an old fabric covered plane over the rice fields to keep the blackbirds out . Better than any roller coaster for sure! Tan was definitely a character and a good man, I know he will be deeply missed. We extend our deepest sympathies.

I remember going to eat at his resturant ~ "The Acadian" ~ with his daughter, and my friend, Dellena. It was so fun. I remember when I met him for the first time that I was very impressed with him. He seemed like a very successful, and loving family man/father. I loved his cajun accent. I just saw a picture of him without his arm. I had totally forgotten that he was missing an arm. His great smile, strong personality, and fiery spirit really out-shined that fact. I feel great joy in knowing that he now has his arm back, and is at home with the Lord, and reunited with his family in heaven. I am honored to have met him, and wish that I could have gotten to know him better. I would have loved to hear some of his stories.... Love, prayers, and many blessings to his family, and to all of his friends. May God send His Holy Spirit to comfort, and bless them at this time.

Praying for the soul of sweet Uncle Tan as his family and friends gather today for his visitation. May they find comfort in knowing that he is gathered at the throne of God rejoicing with his parents, brothers, and sisters that have joyously welcomed Uncle Tan home. May God comfort us all.

So very sorry to hear that we have lost Tan.
(I think of him more like Pat's brother, than an Uncle .... )
I remember Tan, from the farming days, and, his parties at The Acadian.
Tan had the best stories, about the family, and, growing up in So. La.
I will miss asking Tan questions, about the past, and, hearing him laugh.
Sending you a good fais do-do, Tan....

Condolences to the family.
Charlotte, I hope, in time, your memories will sustain you.
Love, from Nan and Jennifer
