Don Sewell

Don was born April 14, 1935 in Miller County, Arkansas. He was a graduate of Arkansas High School and served in the U. S. Army. Don and his wife, Elaine, owned Cass County Printing Company in Linden, Texas. After retiring, he returned to Texarkana. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Church. Don never met a stranger. He had a deep love for his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine O'Neal Sewell, one son, Wayne Sewell, parents, Clyde and Bernice Sewell, and one brother, Lewis Sewell.

Don is survived by two daughters, Janet Sewell of Linden, TX and Kenneth and Donna McLaughlin of Texarkana, AR; 5 grandchildren, Donnie and Christie McLaughlin of Krum, TX, Angie McLaughlin of Texarkana, AR, Thomas Naaman Sapaugh of Texarkana, Bryan Power of Ft. Drum, NY, and Cary and Amanda Barker of Texarkana, TX; 5 great granddaughters, Savannah McLaughlin of Texarkana, AR, Victoria Allison of Texarkana, AR, Lillie McLaughlin of Krum, TX, Katie McLaughlin of Krum, TX, and Lily Barker of Texarkana, TX.

Memorial visitation for Don will be Saturday, February, 18, 2023 from 2 to 4 p.m. at East Funeral Home - Downtown.
