Donald R. Power

Donald R. Power, 68, of Texarkana, TX passed away December 18, 2014 in a local hospital. Mr. Power was born November 14, 1946 in Vernon, TX. He was a retired Air Force Captain; Past Master of Village Lodge #1346 and Border Lodge #672, Past Patron of Border Chapter #211, 0ES, Bowie Cass Scottish Rite Club and Shrine Club, and 32nd Degree Knight Commander Court of Honor, Scottish Rite.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Greer Power of Texarkana, TX; sons and daughters-in-law, Dono and Tricia Power of Benton, AR and MSgt. Derek and Shayne Power of Grand Forks AFB, ND; granddaughters, Caitlyn and Aeryn Power of Grand Forks AFB, ND; brother and sister-in-law, Leon and Becky Power of Texarkana, AR and mother-in-law, Freddy Mann of Texarkana, TX.

Service will be 1:30 p.m., Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Buchanan First Baptist Church with Rev. Don Brazile officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, December 20, 2014 at East Funeral Home - Downtown.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bowie Cass Shrine Club.
