Edna and family, I am so sad to hear about your precious mom. Such a beautiful soul and loved by many. It has been a blessing knowing your mom for 50 plus years and seeing how much she loved her family. Take peace and comfort knowing that you took such good care of your mom and shared the love only a mother and daughter can feel. She truly will be missed. I pray for you the presence of and comfort that only the Lord can provide at this time. Love you with all my heart.

My memories of Dora , Mawmaw , exists around her family. Yes, I knew her but mostly I knew her “kin”. My sister taught with Bill and I taught with Mary. My niece and nephew went to school with the granddaughters. I taught with Niki and taught Grace. These are some special folks; they are smart, hard working, funny, likable , and sincere. This lady left quite a legacy as did Bill and Mary. Heaven most certainly gained an angel in Dora Dyer. May you Rest In Peace; you earned it. Let her be an example to each of us.

Edna, Linda and families,

What a wonderful milestone your mother made. I remember seeing her many times, from when we were in nursing school, to different times she would be with you. I found her to be delightful and a person who enjoyed people. I remember her smile. Life sometimes does some cruel turns in later life, but she was your mother and she knew she was loved, and cared for. When I think of the changes she's seen in her life to 'progress, automation, inventions in this world' I wonder if we will one day, as we get older, will reflect on all we have seen in life. It's pretty awesome to live through changes. You will have peace with your memories and you had the opportunity to take good care of your momma when she needed you most.
