Dorothy Elizabeth Bergt Brownell, aged 95, passed away on December 27, 2025. She was born on April 30, 1930 in Texarkana, Texas. Dorothy was a resident of Texarkana, Texas and was a faithful member of Buchanan First Baptist Church. She retired from Binney and Smith Crayola company in Forks Township, Pa.
Mrs. Brownell was preceded in death by her husband William Brownell and her son Edwin Brownell along with a number of other relatives.
Left to cherish her memory are her granddaughter and her spouse; Addie Rose and Drew Snyder and two great granddaughters Evie and Ava Snyder and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Monday January 5th, 2026, at East Funeral Home-Downtown Chapel with Rev. Rick Rothwell officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
