Dorothy Jean Nottingham, 86, of Texarkana, AR. passed away September 4, 2014 in Dallas. Mrs. Nottingham was born September 2, 1928 in Mt. Vernon, TX. She was a member of Rondo United Methodist Church; a past Girl Scout Leader; and member of Home Extension Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Nottingham.
Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Linda and Joe Breed of Texarkana, Bobbie Hudson of Dallas, TX, Edna Reid of East Point, GA, and Daphne Davis of Texarkana; son, Arthur H. Nottingham of Huntsville, AL; 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; plus numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be 1 p.m., Monday, September 8, 2014 at East Memorial Chapel - Downtown with Rev. Harry Hamner officiating. Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.
Family will receive friends from 12 to 1 p.m., Monday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
