Dorothy Ann Redfearn

Dorothy Ann Redfearn 86 of Texarkana, AR passed on June 27, 2026, at local nursing home.She was born on May 22, 1940 in Nashville, AR.and was homemake and was licensed vocational nurse in the early sixties.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Earnest Redfearn, parents, John and Mary Oakes; two sisters, Hazel Oakes and Johnnie Miller; two brothers, David Oakes and Raymond Oakes.

Survivors include, one daughter and son-in-law, Cathy Hendrix and Christopher Owen: two granddaughters Harley and Darien Johnston and Ayla Hendrix; two sisters, Barbara Clements and Joyce Lynn; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life service will be 10am Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at East Memorial Chapel-Downtown with Rev. Brad Smith officiating.

Burial will be in Rock Springs Cemetery under the direction of East Funeral Home-Downtown.

Family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at the funeral home.
