She was preceded in death by her husbands, Thomas Delbert Combs and Thomas M. Purvis.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Tommie and Larry Elsey of McKinney, TX, Darla and Jimmy Dossey of Texarkana, and Ann and Wayne Walker of Texarkana, TX; step daughter, Karen and Prentice Johnson of Genoa, AR; step son, Jim and Carolyn Swan of Carrolton, TX; 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; plus numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, September 25, 2014 at East Memorial Chapel - Moores Lane with Rev. Doug Rhodes and Rev. Richard Posey officiating. Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home - Moores Lane.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beech Street First Baptist Church.
