Earnest Andrew Redfearn

Earnest Andrew Redfearn, age 88, of Texarkana, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. He was born on June 16, 1936 in Genoa, AR. He worked in the oil fields and after he created his own logging company. He was a contractor for International Paper Co. He love the outdoors and working on his equipment.

He is preceded in death by parents Marshall and Eunice Redfearn; sisters Doris Redfearn, Beatrice Thomason and Nelline Cline; brothers Tommy Redfearn, Osben "Ozzy" Redfearn.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy Redfearn of 64 years; one daughter Cathy Hendrix of Texarkana, AR; two granddaughters Harley Johnston (Darien) and Ayla Hendrix all of Texarkana, AR; three sisters Joann Fondren, Lawanna Tefteller and Helen Green. Plus numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Sunday, February 2, 2025 at East Funeral Home-Downtown with burial to follow in Rock Springs Cemetery.

Visitation will be from Sunday from 1 to 2:00 pm prior to the service at East Funeral Home-Downtown.
