Haller and I have been friends for many, many years. His wife was my husband's cousin and our families shared many good memories. These last years, Haller and I have enjoyed each other's company while talking on the phone and reminiscing of all of the good old days. We laughed a lot. He was a dear friend to my family and me. We all cared a lot for Haller.
I am so sad about his passing and am so glad that our last telephone conversation was full of laughter and enjoying each other.
I will miss him very much. Josie

I will always have the memory of Uncle Haller and I trying to find out where the “commotion” was......it was an ongoing thing that started many years ago while visiting him and Willa Mae. I will miss him, but will always have that memory. My condolences to the rest of the family

This was so upsetting to me to see that my dear Buddy "Ole Howler", with whom I had shared countless memories and wild tales, on our quest for genealogy, has passed. He had the most wonderful sense of humor and was a cherished friend. I will miss him so very much! Cordelia Tollett Lyons
