Ella Mae Underwood

Ella Mae Underwood 95 of Texarkana, Texas died July 22, 2015. Mrs. Underwood was born May 20, 1920, in Nashville, Arkansas. She was a homemaker, excellent cook, and a member of First Baptist Church Moores Lane, and the Willing Workers Sunday School Class.

Ella Mae was proceeded in death by her husband, Jesse Oliver Underwood and son, Wallace Lee Underwood.

She is survived by her daughter, Rosemary White and son-in-law, Graton White; Grandchildren Kellie and Kenneth Early, Kristen and Derick Giles, Jason and Shelia Underwood, Jeffrey and Jamie Underwood, and Amy Kate and Carl Marquardt. Ella Mae is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Additionally, she is survived by her brother-in-law, Joe Underwood and wife, Rosemary of Tucson, Arizona.

Ella Mae will be missed by many, including her family, nieces, nephews and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Barnabas Fund at First Baptist Church, Moores Lane. The Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2015 in the Atrium of First Baptist Church, Moores Lane with Rev. Larry Sims officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of East Funeral Home-Moores Lane.
