Though many years have gone by, I still think fondly of "Mrs. Estelle." I remember her as one of the sweetest ladies with the warmest heart.

I often remember visiting her in her home in New Boston, sitting with her at her table in the kitchen, talking with her about life, the sound of her kind, loving voice and how I so enjoyed her beautiful perception about the lives we live.

I also remember her beautiful, pink sitting room, in which everything was so perfectly placed and where every item—from the carpet to the walls and everything in between—was a perfectly coordinated hue of the pink colors she so dearly loved.

Year after year, Mrs. Estelle was a great delight to visit.  I will always cherish the memories of our times together, of her smiling face and that bright light I regularly saw in her eyes.

I remember something she used to say to me, and I am sure others remember hearing this from her, too, because it was always her way to be hopeful and encouraging.  She would say, "If I were to tell you all the riches, successes and rewards that are ahead for you, well, you wouldn't believe me."

The great pleasure of having known Mrs. Estelle, having enjoyed her kindness and hospitality, and having been gifted those times we shared as we sat at her kitchen table talking about life—as it would turn out for me—are truly some of my life's great riches and rewards.

What a wonderful person to know and to have as a friend.

To her family, I sincerely hope you will find comfort, somehow, in reading about my memories of Estelle, but, more importantly, that you are comforted by knowing she was readily loved by everyone who met her.  I will not soon forget the loving kindness of her gentle spirit or the genuine warmth in every word she spoke.

Praying for God's comforting love and peace that only He can give.  Our love to all the family during this time.

I have such sweet memories of this Sweet Lady;  I first met Estelle when I was 18,  right out of High School and in Nursing School.   We shared the same Birthday November 28.  I will always remember her Hugs, Sweet Smile and her Love.  The Family will be in my thoughts and Prayers. Love, Gale

What sweet and precious memories I have of our dear Estelle. I first met her when she inerviewed to enter the LVN program at Texarkana College. She went on to be a student and we have remained close friends both professonally and personally since that time.

My mother made the wedding suit she wore when she married J.R. 

Estelle made the world brighter and loved and/or was loved by everyone she met. She leaves behind a beautiful  legacy as well as a reminder to never miss an opportunity to be kind to those around us.
