Evelyn Waddell

Evelyn Louise Mouser Waddell, 87, of Texarkana, TX passed away June 3, 2011 in a local nursing home. Mrs. Waddell was born in Blevins, AR on May 29, 1924, the daughter of Mable Allen Mouser and William Arthur Mouser. She was married to Thomas Kittrell Waddell on August 24, 1946 in Tulsa, OK. Mrs. Waddell was a member of Williams Memorial UMC and retired from Lone Star Army Ammunition Plant.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas K. Waddell , January 23, 2011.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, William and Kitty Waddell of New Boston, TX and Robert and Erma Waddell of Redwater, TX; 4 grandchildren, Lara and Chris Herring of Maud, TX, Lisa and Jamie McCloskey of Maud, TX, Brian Waddell of Douglassville, TX and Jeremy and Kristin Waddell of Browns Mills, NJ; 8 great grandchildren, Katelyn and Caleb Herring, Peyton and Preston Davis, Adalynn McCloskey, Claire Waddell, Haley and Savanna Waddell.; and 3 sisters, Mable Waddell of Texarkana, AR, Faye Duke of Texarkana, AR and Laurice Montgomery of Prescott, AR.

Services will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, June 6, 2011 at Williams Memorial UMC with Rev. Danny Wayman and Rev. Brian Waddell officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home – Moores Lane.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, June 5, 2011 at East Funeral Home - Moores Lane.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association or Williams Memorial UMC.
