Felix Lee Jenkins

Mr. Jenkins was born to Neville Jenkins and Olean York Jenkins in Sumner, Mississippi. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Wesley Jenkins of Boliver, Tennessee.

Felix enjoyed gardening, watching old movies and going to the beaches in Florida. He was a 1965 graduate of Mississippi State University in Chemical Engineering. He began his career in R&D at US Gypsum Company in Greenville, Mississippi, later spending 25 years at International Paper in Texarkana.

He was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Catherine and three sons, Tony and his wife Laurie, Steven and his wife Michelle and Richard and his wife Pamela.

Also left to cherish his memory are his six grandchildren and their spouses; Alexandra, Corey and his wife Molly, Brandon and his wife Courtney, Steven Jr., Zachary and Ian and three great grandchildren; Adrienne, Cooper and Hudson.

Graveside services will be 11:00 am Thursday, August 7, 2025 at Chapelwood Cemetery with Father Michael Adams officiating.

Following the graveside service the family invites you to a reception at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 4505 Elizabeth Street, Texarkana, Texas.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at East Funeral Home-Moores Lane.
