Francis M. Hardin

Francis M. Hardin, 92, of Texarkana, TX passed away November 17, 2014 in a local hospital. Mr. Hardin was born March 22, 1922 in Texarkana, TX. He was a member of St. Lukes Methodist Church and a U. S. Army Veteran of WWII, serving from 1939 to 1945.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris M. Hardin; and a son, Ricky Hardin.

Survivors include his sons, Francis Monroe Hardin, Jr., Douglas J. Hardin of Texarkana, AR, Donnie Hardin of Texarkana, AR, Ronnie Hardin of Texarkana, TX and Steve Hardin of Texarkana, AR; daughters, Nancy K. Gill of Redwater, TX, Gloria J. Cross of Port Neches, TX and Karen L. Van Orsdol of Owasso, OK; 19 grandchildren; and 35 great and great great grandchildren.

Service will be 2 p.m., Friday, November 21, 2014 at East Memorial Chapel - Downtown with Rev. Jerry Ford officiating. Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, November 20, 2014 at the funeral home.
