Freida Mae Gage passed on July 12, 2026, at the age of 76 after a long battle of dementia. She was born on October 23, 1949 in Hope, AR. Member of Beech Street Baptist Church. She loved sewing and cooking. Her family loved her famous homemade delicious cinnamon rolls and no bake cookies. Enjoyed volunteering at the Red Hat Society, Women's Missionaries and the Bowie County Home Extension Services. She never met a stranger and would help anyone in need and had a heart of gold.
Preceded in death by her husband Robert "Bobby" Gage; her brother Donnie Middlebrooks. Parents Arnold and Mildred Middlebrooks.
Survived by a daughter and son-in-law Nora and Greg White; one son and daughter-in-law Ernest and Ann Gage; grandchildren Jeremiah White, Bree and Charlie Rainer, Loni and Austin Meredith and Elton and Josie Gortney and John Gage. Nine great grandchildren. Sister and brother-in-law Frances and Steve Kirby. Plus numerous cousins.

Funeral service will be 10:00 am Thursday, July 16, 2026 at East Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Craig Jenkins officiating. Immediately following service burial will take place in Memorial Gardens, Texarkana, AR.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 pm at East Funeral Home-Downtown.
