Gene Isaac Crabtree

Gene Isaac Crabtree, 72 of Texarkana, AR. passed away at his home on Saturday, March 10, 2012. Mr. Crabtree was born April 24, 1939 in Fouke, AR. He is a member of the Baptist Faith and a veteran of the U.S. Marines.

Survived by his wife Margaret Crabtree of Texarkana, AR; two sons Steve Crabtree of Abilene, TX and Greg Crabtree of Naples, TX; one daughter Connie Glass of Hooks, TX; two step sons Karlton Brooke of Texarkana and Robert R. Brooke of Lake Butler, FL; one step daughter Evelyn Brooke Erwin of Texarkana, AR; two brothers Emmett Crabtree and Tillman Crabtree both of Fouke, AR; two sisters Dorothy Hargus of Doddridge, AR and Ellen Cates of Fouke, AR; numerous grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday at East Funeral Home-Downtown with Mr. Justin King officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesville Cemetery in Fouke, AR.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
