He knew from an early age that he wanted to play in the dirt which led him to start his own dirt work business called Eason Earthworks. He was one of the hardest-working men you would ever meet. He made his vocation his vacation and remained actively working until his passing. But life was not all about work for him. He enjoyed hiking, fishing, and hunting for arrowheads but most of all he enjoyed being a Pop-Pop to his youngest grandchild Eason James Spain. His life was a sermon for the Lord. He not only loved God but lived for Him as well. He never passed up an opportunity to share his ardent love for Christ and his extensive knowledge of the Word of God.
He was reunited in Heaven with his parents Connie and Tillie Eason and his eldest brother Gary Eason. He is survived by his two daughters, Jeanne Spain (Jim) and Christie Eason; 3 sons, Dean Bowman (Renae), David Bowman (Carla), and Dylan Bowman (Kasey); 8 grandchildren, Maddie Bowman, Kadie Bowman, Carson Bowman, Allen Williams, Ella Bowman, Jacob Bowman, Elise Bowman, and Eason Spain; 3 siblings, Sandy Webb, Lonnie Eason (Gina), and sister-in-law Donna Eason. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be held at East Memorial Chapel on Moores Lane at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 with Rev. Matt Graves officiating.
