

Harry Bloye Bickle, JR was born on June 8th, 1941 in Poplar, MT. He was the first on three children born to Harry “Bloye” Bickle SR and Thelma “Virginia” Druesedow. He graduated High School from Whitefish, MT and earned his Bachelor's Degree from Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, ID. He immediately attended Oregon State University to complete his Teaching Certificate. He completed his education with a Master's in Education from East Texas State University. While teaching in Billings, MT he met the love of his life Jeanie. They were soon married and began a life of nearly 60 years together. They taught in Montana and Oregon, until he was drafted in 1966, he joined the US Navy, where he served honorably for 3 years, completing his tour of duty in Texas. They started a family and were very active serving the LORD in local ministries. He and Jeanie retired from teaching and enjoyed traveling the US and abroad. He was proceeded by his wife Imogene “Jeanie” Hanel Bickle. He is survived by three children, Matthew Bickle and Nathan Bickle of Texarkana, and Sarah Geary of Conway, AR. He also had a close relationship with his Son-in-law David Geary of Conway, AR and Tracey Greene of Texarkana, TX. Two sisters Linda Hornbrunch of New Mexico and Rita Penny of Hot Springs, AR. Five grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life service will be 2pm Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at First Baptist Church in Wake Village, TX.
Cremation is entrusted with East Funeral Home-Downtown.
