Herman Cecil Sims

He is preceded in death by his father Herman W. Simms.

Survivors include on son, James Sims of Garland, AR; one daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Pat Hurd of Stamps, AR; two brothers and sister-in-law, Randy and Karen Sims of Texarkana, AR and Johnny Clements of Mandeville, AR; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda and Johnny Westbrook of Texarkana, AR and Debbie and Doug Hammond of Hot Springs, AR; mother, Ruth Sims of Texarkana, AR; two grandchildren, Tyler and Adam Schrupp; five great grandchildren and number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 3pm Monday November 6, 2023 at East Memorial Chapel-Downtown. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of East Funeral Home-Downtown.

Family will receive friends from 2pm to 4pm Sunday November 5, 2023 at East Funeral Home-Downtown.
