Horace L. Cook, 74, of Texarkana, Texas died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014, at his home. Mr. Cook was born May 6, 1940, in Naples, Texas. He was a retired employee of Domtar Paper Mill and a member of Buchanan First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jo Cook.
Survivors include two daughters and son-in-laws, Tammy and Chris Crawford, and Terri and Rodney Lance; one granddaughter, Jami Duran; two grandsons, Cory Cook and Aaron Lance; two great-granddaughters; and a host of other family and friends.
Services will be 3 p.m., Thursday, December 4, 2014 at East Memorial Chapel - Moores Lane with Rev. Don Brazile officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park under the direction of East Funeral Home - Moores Lane.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at the funeral home.
