Jack Starks

Jack Starks, age 68, of Texarkana, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022. He was born February 28, 1954 in Texarkana. AR. Jack was a lifetime farmer and rancher; a member of the Arkansas State Golf Association; past president of Miller County Farm Bureau and Arkansas Cattleman's Association. He was Methodist.

Jack loved to golf, hunt and fish. He was a great dance, cheer, and football dad and an amazing grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jane and Charlie Starks, Jr.; his grandparents, Gertie and Charlie Starks, Sr. and Edna and Earl Higgenbotham.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Vicky Starks; children, Johna and Jason Orr, Jamie and Josh Newberry and Cullen and Callie Starks; grandchildren, Jax, Charlie and Emory Jane Starks; extended family members, Theresa and Ron Boyette, Carlyn and Robert Hubnik, Georgia Hubnik; a Godson Zack Clapp and various relatives that he loved dearly.

Services will be 5 p.m., Monday, October 24, 2022 at East Memorial Chapel - Downtown with Rev. Ron Newberry, Deacon Brent Stone and Brenda Robertson officiating. Visitation to follow.
