James Elvin Couch, age 80, of Texarkana, Texas passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022. James was born September 29, 1942 in Delight, AR. He was a Christian. He loved looking for houses as well as he loved building and having projects to work on. His favorite pastime!
Preceded in death by his parents James O. and Sylvia Earlene Couch. A sister Maxine Arron and son-in-law David Rodgers.
Survived by his wife of 59 years Nina Jane Couch, two daughters and son-in-law Teresa and Scott Stevens and Anita Rodgers; two grandchildren Kent Stevens and Jacob Stevens. A sister Bonnie Barrett and brother Marvin Couch. Plus a number of nieces and nephews and other family.
Graveside funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Scott Netherly officiating.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 5 to 7 P.M. at East Funeral Home-Downtown.
