Joan Stout Miller, 89 of Wake Village TX. passed away on December 17, 2016 in a local nursing facility. Mrs. Miller was born September 15, 1927 in Fayetteville, AR. She was a retired school teacher from the Texarkana, Arkansas ISD. She was a member of Cross View Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Weldon R. Miller; a son and daughter-in-law Wayne and Linda Miller.
Survived by her daughter Deborah Miller of Wake Village, TX.; one sister Bettye Jane Davey of Orange, CA. plus several nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 P.M. at Crossview Baptist Church with Rev. Kelsey Coleman officiating.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:30 to 6:00 P.M. at East Funeral Home-Downtown.
