Joe Steve Dellinger

Joe Steve "Mud Duck" Dellinger, age 67, of Ashdown, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at a local hospital. He was born on December 24, 1956 in Ashdown, AR. He spent 18 years as a cowboy (who had too many horse and cow wrecks) and 35 years walking on rebar as a construction surveyor and superintendent. Joe prayed like a little kid for everyone he ever knew, especially family and classmates. He believed in Jesus Christ and karma.

Joe Steve is preceded in death by his father, Joe Cephus Dellinger; mother, Jane Elise Howie Dellinger; and sister, Rebecca Jane Eubanks Sellers.

Survivors include: three daughters and son-in-law, Anna Capps of FL; Sarah Dellinger of NC; and Rose M. Keller (Beau) of SC; sister, Martha Dellinger Crites of TN; and various nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Family will receive friends from 11am to 1pm Saturday, November 23.2024 At East Funeral Home-Downtown.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of East Funeral Home-Downtown.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Ashdown Public Library.
