Dixie and I send our deepest condolences to Ann and the family of Johnny Reed, one of the most special people God ever put on this earth. Johnny was a dear friend and I loved him like a brother. We met in the 7th grade at Arkansas Junior High School and remained close even after I moved to Southern California. Dixie and I really enjoyed our frequent phone calls with Johnny and seeing him at the 5-year reunions of the AHS Class of ‘57.

Rest In Peace, Johnny. We look forward to seeing you in Heaven some day.

Johnny was the best employer, great friend, hunting buddy, and fun times at the race track.

1982 we had a new baby girl, and 2 weeks later Tommy had a major surgery. Tommy was not able to work but Mr. Johnny would hall a load of logs and then give us the pay. It was a blessing we will never forget. Later while he was undergoing cancer treatments I thanked him again for doing this for us. His comment was I don’t remember that.
