Jonathan Edwards Rowe, 89, of Texarkana, TX passed away March 16, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Rowe was born July 18, 1921 in Greenwich, CT. He was a member of First Lutheran Church, Texarkana, TX ; a U. S. Marine veteran,
serving in Iwo Jima and in the Pacific; a member of V.F.W.; and American Legion.
Survivors include his nieces, Lucinda Hotkowski of Deep River, CT, Charlotte Ryerson of Texarkana, TX, Hannah Krening of Larkspur, CO, and Mathea Ondrechen of Valencia, CA; nephews, James Rowe of California, William Taylor of Elk, CA and Thomas Taylor of Clinton, CT; and many great nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at East Memorial Chapel - Moores Lane with Dr. Barry Kolb officiating. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery , Lawrence, MA at a later date.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, March 21, 2011 at East Funeral Home - Moores Lane.
