He is preceded in death by his father, Joe Groves, Sr., mother Evelyn Elaine Windham and brother Ryan Windham.
Survivors included his wife, Kristy Groves; four daughters, Hayley Groves, Draven Salomon, Ashton Crowder and Everlee Groves; son Joseph Russell (Trae) Groves III; two sisters, Kristi Burton and Brandy Clark; step-father, Windy Windham and many cousins , aunts and uncles.
A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday, July 8, 2026 from 6pm to 8pm at East Funeral Home-Downtown.
